Day 1.
Upon arrival to B.G airport in the afternoon, you will be met and assist by our representative and transfer to your hotel in Tel-Aviv .
Dinner and overnight in Tel-Aviv.
Day 2.
After breakfast Depart your hotel to the ancient port of Jaffa (Joppa in the New Testament), one of the oldest cities dating back to biblical times. The port of Jaffa was the Jerusalem's outlet to the world. It was from here that Jonah sailed and was swallowed by a whale, view the picturesque harbor where Jaffa oranges were once exported. Walk along the charming artist's colony with art studios and galleries. Stop to visit St. Peter's church where Peter saw the vision of the clean and unclean animals and where he brought back to life the young woman Dorocas ( Talitha Kummi ). Stop at the observation point overlooking the white city of Tel Aviv. Proceed to Tel Aviv ("hill of Spring") enjoy a ride through the main streets see Yiszhak Rabin square.
Depart Tel-Aviv to the north along the coast of Sharon to Caesarea Maritime, once the capital of the Roman Empire visit the 2000 years old theater and aqueduct. It was here where St. Paul was in prison and where Cornilus the roman soldier was baptized.
Then drive to Mount Carmel to visit the church built over the site where Elija the profit had the contest with the false profits of the Baal. Enjoy the breathtaking view of the valley of Armmagedon.
Drive to Tiberias on the Sea of Galilee for dinner and overnight.
Day 3.
Start the day with a boat ride across the Sea of Galilee. You will sail to Tabgha - to visit the church of the multiplication of loaves and fishes where Jesus multiplied the 2 fishes and 5 loaves of bread and fed 5000 of his followers.
Then to the Mount of Beatitude where Jesus preached famous sermon. Now to Cpernaum located on the shores of the Sea of Galilee and considered the center of Jesus' ministry, It was here where Jesus gathered his first disciples, walked on the water, preached and performed many of his miracles, see the ruins of an ancient synagogue from the 5th century and the house of St. Peter.
Now drive along the eastern shores of pass by the land of Gadarine (the miracle of the swine) to Yardenit where the Jordan River separates itself from the Sea of Galilee. It is possible here to renew the Baptism vows.
Back to your hotel in Tiberias for dinner and overnight.
Day 4.
Depart Tiberias to Mount Tabor the site of the transfiguration ( Matthew 17 ) drive into the hills of Galilee. Your journey takes you to Nazareth, explore the basilica of the Annunciation, it was on this site where the Archangel Gabriel announced to Mary that she would be the mother of the Messiah. Outstanding mosaics of the Madonna and Child cover the walls on the second floor.
Next see the church of St. Joseph built over chambers that housed the Carpentry shop. Walk through the Bazaar of Nazareth, drive by the white stone fountain known as Mary's well. Next drive through Canna where Jesus performed his first miracle turning water into wine.
Now drive along the Jordan valley to Jericho known as the oldest city in the world. View the ruins dating to Stone Age. Pass by the Sycamore tree that Zacharia climbed on to see Jesus.
Leave Jericho and ascend the hills of the wilderness of Judea along the Inn of the Good Samaritan to Jerusalem.
Dinner and overnight in Jerusalem.
Day 5.
The tour of Jerusalem, begins at the summit of mount of olives, enjoy a breathtaking view of the walled old city, and the temple mount with its golden dome mosque. Visit the chapel of ascension where Jesus was seen the last time on earth, on to Pater Noster it was on this site where Jesus taught his disciples the Lord's prayer.
Descend by foot Mount of Olives along Palm Sunday route to visit the church of Dominus Flevit - where Jesus wept over Jerusalem. On to the Garden of Gethsemane the site where Jesus was arrested see the church of Agony known also as the church of all nations. Now drive along the Kidron valley and see the monuments of Abshalom and Zachria.
Visit the church of St. Peter in Galikantu on Mount Zion where Jesus was betrayed by Peter.
Then visit Room of the Last Supper and tomb of King David on to the church of Dormition where Marry fell to eternal sleep.
Back to the hotel in Jerusalem for dinner and overnight.
Day 6.
Today we will explore the old city of Jerusalem.
Your walking tour of the old city of Jerusalem start at the Dung gate we will first visit the famous Western wall, the holiest site in the Jewish world. It is believed to be the only remnants of the fagots temple of Jerusalem. It is known as the Wailing Wall because traditionally the Jews have come hereto mourn the distraction of the temple. The Wall was originally built by King Herod the great in 20bc.
Now we ascend to the Temple mount (Mount Moriah) to see the dome of the rock believed to be built over the site where once the temple stood and the El-Aksa mosque.
Now to the Pool of Betheseda where Jesus healed the man who was unable to walk for 38 years (see John 5.) and the church of St. Anne. On to visit the church of the flagellation where Jesus was scourged and mocked, now to the church of condemnation the Pretorum where Pontius Pilate condemned Jesus to death. Then, walk through the Arab Bazaar to the Via Dolorosa with its 14 stations believed by many to be the route Jesus followed as he carried his cross to Calvary, we shall. Visit the church of the Holy Sepulcher on the hill of Golgotha marking the site of Jesus crucifixion, burial and resurrection.
In the afternoon we drive to Bethlehem to visit the church of Nativity built over the grotto marking the site where the lord was born.
Back to the hotel in Jerusalem for dinner and overnight.
Day 7. Massada and dead sea
On the way to Dead Sea ascend the beautiful Judean Hills. Pass the Ramot suburb of Jerusalem and then descend 3600 feet towards the Dead Sea - the lowest point on earth! To your north you will pass the Jericho the oldest city in the world. Before traveling miles of desert and arid rock to arrive at point from which the Qumran Caves are clearly visible. In 1947 a Bedouin shepherd boy discovered the oldest known biblical manuscripts in the world the Dead Sea scrolls. Drive along the shores of the dead sea to Massada, the most spectacular ancient archeological site in the desert. Ascend by cable car to the top of the fortress built by Herod the grate. In 73ad 967 Jewish Zealots were siege by 10000 Roman soldier. Ben Yair the leader delivered his famous speech: "Let our wives die unabashed, our children without knowledge of slavery...Let us die uneneslaved by our enemies and live this world as free men in company with our wives and children" Explore these magnificent ancient ruins, which include Herod's palace, the synagogue, the bath, the defending walls and see the Roman ramp. In the afternoon you will have the opportunity to experience the sensation of floating upon the waters of the Dead Sea.
Return to Jerusalem for dinner and overnight.
Day 8.
Depending on the flights time. Free + transfer to the airport for your departure.
